Let’s Write Together!
Music and Writing Night
Tuesday, August 18 | 6:30-8 p.m. MST
This is a 1.5-hour online gathering that combines music, poetry, writing, and friends. This is similar to a book club, but rather than assigning a book, a musical album is the focus.
Participants are encouraged to listen to the album ahead of the gathering, review the lyrics, and come prepared to discuss the artist’s work. Then, we free write for about 30 minutes based on writing prompts associated with the album. At the end of the gathering, we will have time for volunteers to share their work and receive encouraging feedback.
