Radiation Reflection, Weekend 2, Sunday

I started imagining what I want life to look like after radiation.
There are airplane rides where I look out the window to see where the sky ends.
Feet in the pool, hands on pavement behind my back arched so that my mouth is toward the sky, drinking the sun.
The smell of cantaloupe-colored roses, opening just after the wind carries lilacs from our house to volcanoes and bubblegum sunsets on the west side of Albuquerque.
Trees pruned, branches making a small pile of wood for fires that will send smoke dancing straight to the moon.
Bicycle ride breezes as I careen down neighborhood hills.
Running as sweat drips from my face and neck, heart pounding, breaths short.
Sit ups and push ups - my dogs and cat raising eyebrows at my movements, wanting to share the yoga mat with me,
Very little news consumption, my mind working on what helps here and now.
More concentration.
Simple things.
